RigorMed
Terms of Service
Last updated: September 26, 2026
1. Parties and scope
These Terms govern your access to and use of the RigorMed website, account, medical research assistance features, and related services. By registering, signing in, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
These Terms apply together with the Privacy Policy and the product benefits and transaction rules shown at checkout. The price, term, credits, and payment method you confirm for an order form part of that transaction.
2. Purpose and limits of the service
RigorMed is software for professional medical research assistance, including research preparation, public evidence retrieval, data checks, controlled analyses, scientific writing, figures, and reproducibility materials. Neither the service nor its output constitutes a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, ethics approval, statistical or legal opinion, journal decision, or publication guarantee.
You must have the rights, permissions, and any applicable ethics or institutional approvals needed for the material and purpose you submit. Do not submit material you are not entitled to process or that the law prohibits you from processing.
AI output can contain factual, citation, calculation, or wording errors. Before citing, publishing, filing an ethics document, or otherwise relying on output, verify the primary sources, data, methods, and limits yourself.
3. Account and security
Provide accurate registration information and protect your sign-in credentials. Activity performed through your account is treated as your activity. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. Do not sell, rent, transfer, or share an account, or bypass access controls through automation or shared credentials.
4. Your content and permissions
You retain the rights you lawfully hold in your content. To provide the service you request, you grant us a non-exclusive permission, limited to what is necessary, to store, copy, parse, transform, display, and process your instructions, files, and project content. This permission is for service delivery, security, troubleshooting, and legal compliance.
Task inputs or relevant file excerpts may be sent to the model, compute, or storage providers needed for the model and tools you choose. The Privacy Policy describes processing categories, purposes, and your rights. Deleting a project file does not automatically erase transaction records or information that must be retained by law.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions and that your content does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other lawful interests.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to fabricate research data or citations, misrepresent authorship or submissions, make clinical decisions or prescriptions, evade ethics or data-protection requirements, upload malware, attack the service, obtain other users’ non-public data, or otherwise break applicable law.
Where reasonably necessary, we may warn, restrict features, suspend processing, or terminate accounts in response to suspected violations, and cooperate with competent authorities as required by law.
6. Products, credits, and refunds
Some features require a membership or credit pack. The confirmed order states the membership term, monthly credits, concurrency and scope, or the credit-pack amount, usage order and validity. Credits are service-use units; they cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred. Actual task debits follow the server-side billing record. Unused reservations are released or returned under the billing rules when a task fails for system reasons.
For a membership order, the proposed refund is calculated from its unconsumed monthly credits: amount actually paid × (monthly credits granted by that order − monthly credits actually consumed from that order) ÷ monthly credits granted by that order, rounded down to the smallest currency unit. Credits from other orders or promotions are not counted as consumption of this order. In-progress or disputed tasks must be settled first. On a successful refund, the remaining membership benefits from that order are revoked.
Credit packs are generally not eligible for a voluntary refund after purchase. Mandatory legal rights concerning refunds, defective products, or unperformed services prevail. If an invoice was requested, contact support to coordinate any legally required reversal or correction before refund processing. Please include your order information when contacting support. The outcome, return-to-original-payment timing, and any tax difference depend on the payment provider and applicable law.
WeChat membership orders can use the proportional refund process above. International-card membership orders can be refunded in full through the original payment method if no membership credits have been used. If some credits have been used but a refundable balance remains, support must first verify the order and freeze its benefits, then arrange a partial refund manually through the payment provider. We record success and revoke the remaining benefits only after verifying the provider’s amount and status. Do not assume that a provider-side refund has automatically synchronized with your RigorMed account. International-card orders are settled through Creem checkout; actual tax, receipts, and refund progress follow its checkout and notifications. These memberships may renew automatically under the provider’s subscription schedule. To stop future charges, request cancellation through the provider or support before the next billing period. Whether benefits continue for a paid period depends on the order and provider status.
7. Intellectual property
Our software, interface, marks, documentation, and other protected material remain subject to intellectual-property law. You may not copy, adapt, sell, rent, distribute, or use them to build a competing service without permission. You are responsible for checking the accuracy, provenance, rights, and permitted use of generated output; third-party material remains subject to its original rights and licences.
8. Third-party services
The service may rely on third parties for model calls, object storage, payments, notifications, and other necessary functions. Independent third-party services may be governed by their own terms. We select and manage service providers as required by law but cannot treat their independent service as our own guarantee.
9. Changes, interruption, and termination
Features may change or become temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, security incidents, force majeure, regulatory requirements, or third-party failures. Where reasonably practicable, we will give advance or prompt notice. You may stop using the service. After account termination, information is handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable retention obligations.
If the service cannot be performed, you are charged twice, or another transaction error occurs, contact us with the order details. We will investigate based on actual performance, provider rules, and applicable law; these Terms do not remove your statutory remedies.
10. Responsibility and verification
You remain responsible for professional verification of the research design, data quality, statistical methods, citations, conclusions, and final use. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from your breach of these Terms, failure to verify generated content, submission of material you may not process, or use outside the service’s stated purpose. Mandatory legal rules prevail.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated version on this page and give prominent notice of changes materially affecting your rights where required. The updated Terms take effect on the date stated in the notice.
12. Governing law and disputes
The formation, performance, and interpretation of these Terms are governed by the laws of mainland China. We will first try to resolve disputes by discussion; otherwise, either party may bring a claim before a court with lawful jurisdiction. This clause does not exclude mandatory consumer rights that apply in your location.
